Learn to... Dungeons & Dragons

Learn to... Dungeons & Dragons In-Person

Do you yearn to be brave? To be tall? To go on a quest? Have you always wanted to play Dungeons & Dragons but didn't know where to start? Register now to guarantee your spot in our Learn to Play class. You will learn the basic mechanics of game play with premade characters. Afterwards, DM Kim will take you on a short campaign so you can explore the game on the first day.

Have you played before (or taken our Learn to Play class) and want to know how to create your own character? Register for our Create a Character class. You'll learn about the different types of characters, classes, and backgrounds. DM Kim will show you how to roll the dice for your stats, and you can choose what your character looks like, what motivates them, and how they were raised.

Do you have so many stories running around in your head and want to share them with others? Have you taken the previous classes and decided that you'd like to try your hand at running a game? Register for our Become a Dungeon Master class. Taught by DM Erik, you'll benefit from his 30+ years of running campaigns.

Loaner dice will be available for each class, or you can bring your own favorite set.

All classes will be held at the Canyon Lake Library. Maximum 10 participants. Registration will guarantee you a spot in the class. Otherwise, it's first come, first serve until full.
