Fireside Book Group ~ "Great Crossing" In-Person
We welcome local author Judalon de Bornay to join us as we discuss her book, "Great Crossing." Her fictional account reimagines the relationship between Julia Chinn and Vice President Richard Mentor Johnson, a love that dared to cross barriers and confront relentless obstacles. 1807: a slave woman and a man destined to become an American vice president find themselves on a different kind of collision course. He sets out to defy his family and American society as well, with his choice of bride.
