Faces & Places Reading Group - "Patriot" by Alexei Navalny In-Person
Join us for our reading group, “Faces & Places” where we will discuss interesting lives and locations. September’s topic is Alexei Navalny’s memoir “Patriot”. Alexei Navalny's posthumous memoir, “Patriot”, chronicles his life from his youth to his final days as Vladimir Putin's most prominent opponent. The book details his political activism, the assassination attempts against him, and his experiences in a brutal Russian prison, all while maintaining his unwavering belief in a "beautiful Russia of the future."
You are welcome to read any book on any related subject or research any viable source, including watching a DVD or documentary. Some items will be available at front desk. All are welcome to our adult book club. Zoom option available.
