QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training with Alicia Dhason, MA of Riverside-San Bernardino County Indian Health, Inc In-Person
QPR is a 1-hour educational suicide prevention program designed to teach lay and professional "gatekeepers" the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to respond. QPR is intended to teach individuals how to recognize the warning signs of suicide and provides guidelines on how to: (Q)uestion a person about potential suicidal thoughts, (P)ersuade them to seek help, and (R)efer them to appropriate professional services.
