Faces & Places Reading Group - New Zealand In-Person

Join us for our reading group, “Faces & Places” where we will discuss interesting lives and locations. August’s topic is New Zealand. New Zealand is the first country in the world to see the sunrise each day, thanks to its proximity to the International Date Line. It's also home to the kea, the world's only alpine parrot, known for its mischievous and intelligent nature, often seen interacting with tourists and even attempting to dismantle cars! Uniquely, New Zealand has no native land snakes, making it a slither-free paradise.

You are welcome to read any book on any related subject or research any viable source, including watching a DVD or documentary. Some items will be available at front desk. All are welcome to our adult book club. Zoom option available.
