Each week during the RCLS Summer Reading Program, the Creation Station will offer a free craft program that ties into the theme of the week.
Week 2: My Roots, My Story
This week's Maker Craft will focus on your family. Patrons will receive laser cut designs of a tree and several blank leaves. Using hot glue and popsicle sticks, they will assemble their 3D tree. Next, they will label their leaves with names of family members and attach them to their tree stand creating a 3-dimensional family tree.
This craft is limited to the first 20 patrons. No RSVPs, first come only.
The Creation Station is located inside the La Quinta Public Library across the hall from the Community Program Room.
