For Ages 18+

Writers of all levels, ages 18 and up, can join our Writer’s Block group for an opportunity to improve their writing by participating in monthly readings, prompts, discussions about writing and group critiques in a supportive environment.

Participants can submit original pieces up to 3 pages max, double spaced, 12 point font, Times New Roman preferred. The group will read a few submissions each month, sharing constructive criticism and encouragement at the next meeting. Submissions are encouraged but voluntary and can be of any genre. Please email submissions at least 2 weeks in advance if you want them reviewed prior to the next meeting.

Imagine a small space that has become bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. Write a scene describing events that occur with the space, like its discovery or its new use, etc. How does your character interact and experience the space?
